It’s that time of the year to try new things, so I’m going to start doing a Sunday post of my favourite finds from throughout that week. I hope you enjoy this post, and if you would like to see more, please let me know with a comment. I’m like a digital hoarder, constantly taking pictures or screenshots of things I love, my phone is full of them! I feel terrible when someone asks to see a picture of my children and I start profusely apologising as I have to scroll through endless wedding related images to find one! So without further adieu, here’s my first find of the week….
The Wedding Stylist

Sundari, owner and all-round lovely person behind The Wedding Stylist, is a friend of one of my very best friends who first introduced us when I was playing around with the idea of starting up this very blog. Sundari’s advice and tips continue to inspire me and guide me on this journey; I remember jotting down everything she told me, verbatim! This week she launched the new-look website and yes, the images are breathtaking, the site is wonderfully designed, elegant and simple, the calligraphy script is beautiful {I could go on}. But what comes through on every single page is Sundari’s awe-inspiring passion for what she does; and I don’t just mean she loves her job, she loves what her job is about, what it represents. Not only is Sundari incredibly talented and has an undeniable flair for design and style, she is also incredibly humble and continually and passionately keeps bringing everything back to what it is all really about: the love between two people, or to quote from her website, “An all encompassing, wonderfully calm love that stands the test of time” – isn’t that just so lovely?! You can check out her {beautiful} new website here. A quick glance at her Love Notes from the couples she has worked with and a scroll through her Blog says it all! Sundari is one of those people {for me anyway} that you just want to be more like.
Elstile
Image taken from Elstile’s Instagram
I saw this image whilst browsing through Facebook and literally had to stop e v e r y t h i n g ! It then turned into what can only be described as ultimate stalking through their Instagram feed and falling in love with so many hairstyles that I have always imagined for my wedding since I was a little girl, but haven’t actually seen very many hair stylists create {apart from in the movies}, and to such a high standard whilst still looking so effortless. For anyone who isn’t into the boho-beach waves or doesn’t have the hair to carry off that look, or has a dress that calls for a different hairstyle or maybe you just want something different in an upstyle, look no further! Elstile are based in Russia and USA and also teach and provide courses, which you can find details of here. In the meantime, admire and be inspired by the countless images on Pinterest and Instagram and numerous magazine features. It makes me wonder why I on earth I haven’t come across them before!
Botanical Wood Slices
And finally, initially seen in a Country Living article, via Ella Claire was this guest-post by another blogger, Cami Graham from Tidbits. Sometimes click throughs can take you on the most wonderful journeys, and this one had a truly beautiful reward, in all it’s vintage, shabby-chic, charming glory! And what a treat these little wood slices are, and of course, the list of things you can do with, transform into and use them for is endless! A little imagination and bespoke customisation can make these perfect for a woodland wedding, as backdrops, decorative wreaths, glass coasters for wedding guests, wedding favours, alternative bunting; you could even make some that spell out “w i l l y o u m a r r y m e ?” I could go on and on and on. You can check out the full post here, which perfectly guides you through {surprisingly easy} step by step instructions on how to make these yourself. I love this project, and will definitely be doing it myself.
So there you have it, I don’t want these posts to become too long and cumbersome, if you’ve been following my blog for a while, you will know I can get a bit type-happy on the ol’ keyboard. This is just a quick insight into what inspired me throughout the past week; precious finds and little things that I hope you will love too. My best advice is don’t be afraid to click on links, they can lead you on the most wonderful journeys of inspiration and learning.
